I've been going to this place since I was in high school. Me and my buddies used to go after school. right down the street from the bar we hang out at and was a frequent stop on the way home.

My girlfriend had never had a gyro before. 23 years old. Crazy right? We left midway and picked our car up from a nearby hotel; I was craving a gyro. This little spot had an interesting vibe. Everyone that walked in the door had a new element to bring to the table. The staff knew everyone. Besides all that the food was very plentiful and first time I've had gyro loaded with feta cheese. Yum! Worth trying definitely.

Went to Blue Island to mix it up. The food was great and the prices, but time investment might warrant calling the order in next time.

Long time Blue Island staple, this place is your quintessential little Greek fast food joint. The owners emmigrated from northern Greece over 30 years ago. They are known for their terrific gyros, smothered in FABULOUS homemeade tzatziki sauce, as well as the 'Big Baby' hamburger (greasy and delicious). No Coke or Pepsi, this is an RC sort of joint. Fries are cooked in lard. Like they should be! Mmmmm.
