My parents had dinner at the restraunt thats linked with jumers and the food was not that great. I know they also had terrible service, about the only good thing I could say about this hotel is that its in a safe area of bloomington/normal and close to all the action around bloomington.

I just returned from a weekend stay at the Chateau while I attended the Hearts at Home conference. I stayed two nights and enjoyed using the whirlpool in the pool area and having Sunday brunch in the restaurant.
The room was lovely and very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful! I'll be back next year.

I was very excited to stay here, I see this hotel everyday on my way to work and the outside makes it look quite neat. We booked for a Saturday night and when we checked in, we were told we might not be getting the suite room we had reserved because they overbooked. They offered us champaigne but we don't drink. So we finally got our "suite" room, which is a regular room with a cheap 4 poster bed. Our room was clean except for the garbage around the fridge, I called down to the desk and ask someone to come clean it, they said ok, so we went to dinner, 2 hours later nothing was done, so we went to the front desk, 1 hour later still nothing, so we left a message with the manager to call us reguarding the issue, 2 days later I CALLED the manager, I am not sure if we will stay here again. They have changed names and management but obviously have not changed service.

When my husband and I arrived in our room for our Fantasy Friday package, we found our room had not been cleaned. They quickly ushered us to a new room that was of the same calliber. We had dinner reservations at the hotel restaurant for 7:30. We were there at 7:25, but had to wait to be seated. The restaurant was not crowded, but it took awhile to be waited on and then took a long time to receive our food. Part of my husband's meal did not arrive until we pointed out the error. We received our bill under the door in the morning. We had been overbilled by $22.00 for the meal. My husband was able to clear this up with no problem. A few hours after we checked out, I realized that I had left an expensive dress hanging in the closet. When I called, I basically got the run around. The dress had obviously been stolen by housekeeping, but the hotel would do nothing. I would not stay at a hotel where the staff is not trustworthy and the management does nothing to rectify the situation.
