I will try to keep this brief, as I could really go into it here but it would be really boring. Front desk was not really friendly upon check in. Front lobby was very dirty and floors were very dirty. Hall carpet was filthy going to the room, and very smelly. Room was not that smelly but carpet needed much better cleaning. Bulbs in lamps were of different types, and wattage so light in room was strange and hard to adapt to. Bathroom seemed clean, but there is no bathroom fan, coffee pot is next to toilet, and bath tissue is terrible. Beds were passable but not comfortable and a bit smelly. Television was small and reception worked some of the time. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from other rooms,( even conversations) and the hall. Because many children stay there, hall and room noise lasts well into the night so it is definitely not a place to get a peaceful or restful nights sleep. There is a notation in the room book that even says you can get ear plugs at the front desk? Seriously? At 200 dollars a night, earplugs? The hotel cannot control its guests? We got very little sleep there and did not even use the overrated swim areas because of the extra costs involved to use it. Staff selling the tickets at the triple play are not knowledgeable about anything other than selling a one day pass, regardless of what it says on their website of the flier sheets in front of them. Breakfast buffet was challenging, and food was not that great and basic small hotel type of food. Food pans were constantly running out and observed many guests going to kitchen asking for more food. There is one small 4 slice toaster only and always a line to toast the English muffins or bagels, etc and toaster took forever to toast anything so folks were frustrated and most just ate their braeds untoasted. Food staff were overwhelmed most of the time and tables were never cleaned/wiped until buffet time was over. Floors and dining area overall were dirty until buffet time over. Overall, hotel needs upgrading and updating, better trained staff, more staff, new policies regarding noise and enforcement of those policies, and front desk staff needs customer service training. My family was there for 2 nights as we drove 8 hours to get there, and hotels around there were sold out so changing hotels was not easy and a bit of a drive away. Not familiar with area at all, we just stayed there per our booking, but have nothing but regrets. We have stayed at a few of these type places the world over, and this was the worst by far. Our trip purpose was a theme park about 4 miles away called Silverwood. It did not disappoint, but my advice is stay somewhere else and book early.

While we have stayed at the Triple Play previously, we want to take our puppy with us this time because she is in training. When I emailed the resort they said that they were pet friendly and the she was welcome everywhere but the breakfast area and the park. They needed to be more specific. She was allowed in the hotel and room and that was it and someone always had to stay with her in the room. So, we were not able to spend time together as a family because one adult was always in the room with her. I could understand her not being in the eating areas, but did not see why she couldn't be with us in areas where there was no food. We were not happy and left early.

What Hotel keeps the coffee maker by the toilet? Answer Triple Play.
The rugs really should have been cleaned years ago. The game rooms smell
Like urine and B.O. wash your hands, and don’t touch anything if you do
Well watch out

They are great at coordinating rooms for large groups. The hotel staff are friendly and the breakfast room is kept stocked and a nice place to meet up at. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a nice place to stay if you are going to Silverwood, Triple Play Family Fun Park, or both.

This is an affordable alternative to other family play based places. With the stay and play package the two day deal keeps everyone entertained.

The kids always have a great time. Raptor Reef is awesome for all ages! There are some games for little kids but most of the activities are geared for ages five and up.

My only suggestion is to rent a room with a kitchen and bring your own food :)
