Don’t expect much. It was ok but very thin walls and ceiling, try to get a second floor room so you won’t hear stomping around in the middle of the night..Do not! I repeat Do not go to the ONLY restaurant there named Ginny’s it made several of our party very sick. Try to eat before you get to that one restaurant town.

I was pleased with my 2 night stay at The Frontier. Had a single room that was smallish but cozy. The room was very clean. Towels fresh and soft. Awesome cold fridge, micro and coffee maker. Staff was very nice and pretty tolerant of Rodeo famalies that function all hours. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We selected this motel at this location for the night before taking the Snake River short cruise at Hell's Canyon South Dam (Oxbow, OR). Cambridge (a tiny village) was 62 miles away from the launch point, however the good road was narrow and crooked (a two hour drive).

Although the motel may not have a competition, it was exactly what we expected. A welcome reception, a nice clean spacious room, with good free Wi Fi reception, large flat TV, bathroom was well lit. We stayed at room # 30 on the ground floor.

No breakfast (anyway we always prefer to eat outside). Open air pool was already closed for the season. There was ample of parking space.

No fitness room - we simply ran along main street into route 71 (the road leading to Hell's Canyon).

Room tip: Ask for room # 30 for best WiFi, observe your room before checking in.

We stayed at the Frontier one night before a rafting trip down Hell's Canyon. Service was friendly and helpful. Priced fairly at $70/night the rooms were small and while ours had been recently updated it was still a bit run down. But really this motel is just what you'd expect to find in a small rural Idaho community. If your looking for something more upscale, you not find it in Cambridge, nor should you expect to.

Motel was perfect for our needs! Great All American town! Hope it never changes! Clean, comfortable beds and the nicest people (staff & owner)! We had a circumstance that we needed help on as well as a very late arrival issue. I called after our reservation was made and they not only came to our aide but arranged for easy access to our room without waking everyone up at 1:30am! Next morning when we went to pay, the note on the door said they had gone to church. I entered the office left the key and a note about payment, I called them a few hours later to make sure they got paid.... she was so sweet and helpful We have a new friend (Haven't even personally met her yet!) and will stay again or at the very least not pass by without stopping to say hello!

Room tip: All location of rooms seemed fine. Noise level was minimal, US95 is not a busy route and very quite at night so road noise was nill!
