I booked one night for the end Sept back in April 2015. The booking process was a little strange and in hindsight should have set alarm bells ringing. We finally arrived midday at the resort to find it almost deserted. After checking in we found that we were the only guests and in fact had been the only guests for some time. From a health and safety point of view it was at best a risk - see photos....
This hotel is not a fully functioning resort and is undergoing improvements / developments. To cut a long story short, the staff at the resort were very helpful to find us transport to go to Tawau to a hotel for the night. Perhaps once the improvements have been done (end 2016 is the plan) this would be a great place to stay - for now, it is in the middle of nowhere with very limited resources and unsafe walking areas and for all that still charging £230 per night.

palm oil trucks destroyed the great (new) road into the resort making it bumpy 10 minutes before you reach this resort.

However, its just my first night out here and I'm estatic. The rooms are surprisingly high class (Tawau hotels are so-so imho, thus the surprise), comfy and SPACIOUS! the price is also bloody cheap!!! I'm glad I found out about this place. Since its not crowded, i can really enjoy nature at its best.

its also near to sipadan and mabul. finally i dont need to go to semporna JUST to get to an island. This place is able to arrange access to the islands. urgh, this really saved my money, time and energy to get to the islands.

wish i can come back soon. oh long holidays, how scarce you are ~~~

We visited here in December and it is clear that the resort is not fully functional yet. The roads are very muddy to get to the resort and it takes about one hour from Tawau.

However, on the plus side, the staff were very friendly and the rooms are very nice and spacious. It is not far from islands such as Sipadan and Mabul and snorkelling is very good value (from memory 40 ringgit per person). You can get a high speed boat from the resort and it takes around 30 minutes.

The only negative would be the food selection. The local fish was amazing but not much else besides apart from some veggies. Plus they ran out of beer although we only had 4 cans of tiger each over 2 days. I guess it is because the place is quite remote.

Hi anyone can share the contact number... i try to find this resort and drive from Lahad Datu to Tawau but still cant find this place.

I drop by Semporna and ask the direction... seems the local never heard this resort.

Is there any hint how to find this little paradise...

I visited this place because I was adviced it is a place for relaxing and getting away from the stress of daily life. If you are looking for fun, excitement then it is not ideal. But if you are seeking peace, relax, harmony, snorkeling into a wonderful blue and be surrounded by fishes and corals then look no further. The aaccommodation is great and really enjoyable. The service is attentive, the food variety is amazingly big. You can fish your dinner out and then let the kitchen prepare it to you. Great.
