“Twin Palms and Tybee Island is perfect laid-back beach getaway”

I planned a last minute beach getaway for my husband and I a few weeks ago (found great fare through Allegiant Air to Savannah.) I found Twin Palms through my searches on Trip Advisor and felll in love with the pics of the cottage. Twin Palms is even better in real life due to the special touches and the hospitality of Leuveda and Ron. The cottage was spotless, it smelled good, and the bed was heavenly! (outdoor seating, screened in porch, outdoor shower also were great amenities.) One of the other huge benefits of Twin Palms was the location and the ability to use Twin Palm's bikes (bonus for the basket and the bells!) Tybee Island is best by bike -- it forces you to slow down, explore tree-lined streets, and see things and people you would never see ore meet in a car. Twin Palms and Tybee is a definite do-over for these Mid-Westerners.

“Wonderful cottage for resting and kayaking”
Reviewed 13 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

This charming cottage is a perfect get-away for a person or couple, looking for a low-key, relaxing stay. The hosts made sure everything was just right. We used the bicycles and never got back in the car until we needed to leave the island. The screened porch with it's swing and the outside covered sitting area were great for reading and napping. The cottage is also ideally located for anyone who wants to kayak. The cottage is very close and convenient to the Alley 3 kayak launching area. We enjoyed paddling the marsh, the back river and out to the big sandbar every day, and then could walk or bicycle to AJ's to eat! Hope we can do it again, real soon!

Liked best: Everything was great; the overall attention to the design and furnishing of the cottage worked together to create a very comfortable, peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
Liked least: The charming vintage kitchenette was fine for our needs, but be aware that it is just what it says it is.

“Best Vacation Rental Ever”
Reviewed 26 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Twin Palms is the most charming cottage, and perfectly located for rest, relaxation, and privacy. Even with some construction happening close by, it didn't matter. We just blended it all in with the Island charm. Leuveda and Ron are so delightful. Their stories about Tybee and suggestions of what not to miss were so helpful! We felt we had met celebrities, but for sure, made new friends!

We had everything at our fingertips with the patio, outdoor shower, bikes, and beach chairs. It's a very short walk to the back water and watching the sunsets, or walking along the beach during low tide. Having coffee on the front porch swing while reading a favorite author's book felt like a dream come true! The time just flew, with all good memories!

GREAT!!! Awesome owners! We enjoyed the cottage and the privacy. We had everything we could need and the view of the moon at night through the high window topped it all off perfectly!
