While at Brookhaven Brunch Festival: I see Meehan's Public House every time I'm in Sandy Springs but I've yet to stop. After meeting General Manager Robert E. Wesling Jr., I now have a reason to give them a try. We spent quite some time talking about what made their establishment different from the rest. The shrimp and grits had me sold!

On a business trip to Atlanta, staying in Sandy Springs, we found Meehan's and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very nice, there is a large selection of drinks, and the food is quite tasty.

We had a Smithwick draught to go with our Smokehouse Burger and Fish & Chips. For dessert, my wife had to try the Bread Pudding and was not disappointed. It's not as good as some other places, but definitely tasty.

I eat at this restaurant once a week. Their menu is eclectic and creative. I suggest th fish and chips for dinner and during the week the chicken-bacon wrap is wonderful. They have drink specials everyday. Come sit and listen to music during the weekends, but take heed if your on a date as the music makes it hard to hear.

Good and fast service, the fish and chips were great and they'll even make your fries crispy if you ask, (so they have a nice crunch without being burned) plenty of parking at lunch time as well.

Dad and Mom said it was really good, but unfortunately it was only average. Where in Atlanta can you still get a "REAL" fish & chips dinner? Not at Meehan's, just the same old fish sticks and fries and (were they kidding?) tangy southern coleslaw?

Sure the place looks great, and the 20oz Guinness and Harp were as good as ever, but I really had hoped for what I'd come to expect - REAL fish & chips - a whole cod fillet that took up the whole plate, and some really good thick-cut "chips" and to make it authentic, some fresh steamed peas. There used to be a couple places in ATL where that was served, but the recession killed off the only one close to us. Sure do miss them and this was a disappointment!
