We have stay here 3 times in the past year. Rooms and lobby were clean and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Check in was fast, the breakfast menu was satisfing. All in all I would recommend this hotel to a friend or family member

La Quinta Inn Rome, GA was a wonderful place to stay, Newly remodeled, clean, comfy beds, great staff, ideal travel location. Breakfast was adequate, yogurt, fruit, cereal and waffles. I had a banana that was rotten inside. Things happen! I still rate it excellent.

Absolutely awful costumer service! Quoted one rate for a tournament then given a $50 higher rate! When asked about it, Steve Miller, the guy at the front desk was rude and condescending. The costumer is NEVER right is their attitude! Finally got 2/6 rooms a reduced rate but not the rate quoted by the tournament. We are having to pay $30 more than advertised per night per 4 rooms!!! 2 of the rooms are $10 more per night. Steve at the front desk is power hungry and is only there to make your life a little more difficult. After all, isn't that what the hospitality business is all about!?? Find somewhere else to stay. You do not want to stay at a place the treats their "valued costumers" like this! He actually said, "Well, you are the one that screwed up by calling the 1-800 number instead of booking locally." He also called his coworker "stupid" and said that she is the one that "screwed" up because she can't spell and therefore he had issues finding our reservation. Additionally, he threw management under the bus by saying they could change the rate if they wanted to but his hands were tied. Nice, just the kind of employee everyone is searching for.

What a great trip. Steve at the front desk is exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. We feel he went above an beyond in representing La Quinta by making us feel at home at this facility and by informing us about the interesting history of the Rome area. We absolutely appreciate his kindness and professionalism. We will definitely return and recommend. Thank you!

Front lobby has been remodeled, and was very nice. Our room was on the first floor, so I did not see the rest of the hotel, but the room and hallway was nice. Typical of a La Quinta. Front desk help was courteous!
