Ate here on a Monday morning, restaurant was pretty busy. We did not have to wait for a table. Our server was very good and friendly. Our bus person was a Down's syndrome man who did a very nice job and was also friendly. Food did not disappoint us, it was just as we ordered and the bacon was excellent with a very smoky flavor. Would definitely go again when in GA.

We love eating here for a very casual family meal. Very fresh food . No frills, but always get what you expect. There is a wait on weekends. Friendly to kids too!

We've only been one time, but I thought that this place deserved the 5 rating.

Mimi's is a little hard to find. It is located at the corner of Kelly & Dividend. It faces Dividend in the set of businesses furthest from Kelly. There are signs at the entrances, but the sign above the storefront is not that big and somewhat obscured by trees. The plaza is otherwise filled with non-restaurant places - churches, workout centers, dog-grooming, etc.

This is definitely not a chain restaurant. It is locally owned; the owner was there staffing the register and doing some cooking, in fact. It has a very 'authentic' feel to it. There are a lot of people who obviously frequent the place regularly, but if you are a newcomer you do not feel at all out of place either.

Their menu hits all the normal southern breakfast highlights and there are numerous combos to choose from, as well as a la carte. The food tastes fresh also. The coffee was good. Service was friendly.

My rating is for 'getting it right'. If someone set out to open a southern diner breakfast sort of establishment, this should be the template.

Call it nostalgia, but I miss the cafe's of my youth. Mimi's was almost full when we arrived and people leaving were laughing and obviously had had a good experience. The tables were close together and the place buzzed with waitresses. The food was standard fare ..... but very, very good standard fare. I had a patty melt. The next day I had a patty melt - which looked the same - at another restaurant. There was no comparison and it's not obvious why. I'll be back.
