“Really good but too pricey for weekly visit”

Husband had Fried Chicken sandwich and I had 1/2 pastrami sandwich and beet salad. We also had 1/2 order of fries which were really great but $5. You can add a special sauce for $1 which seemed a bit much for $5 worth of potatoes. They were good but too big for 2 people. The Fried Chicken sandwich was really good and the bun was excellent. My pastrami sandwich had juicy pastrami and excellent bread. The beet salad was good. The greens were tossed in the dressing but the beets were not so I needed a little extra dressing which they quickly brought. You get a real homemade pickle with every meal which we enjoyed and made us think of Fickle Pickle. The real star was the chocolate chip cookie. It was $3.5? and worth every penny. It was huge with massive pieces of chocolate. It was perfectly cooked with a crisp edge on the outside and soft in the middle. This place is worth a visit and if they would give a little better value we would go every week. Right now it will be every month or two.

I have been going to the Muss & Turners in Smyrna for many years and very much enjoyed Common Quarter. While it was sad to see Common Quarter close, the new Muss & Turners is a great addition to East Cobb. Their sandwiches and salads are as good as the other M&T. I very much enjoy sitting at the beautiful bar. I am also glad that they serve lunch because they are close to my office. Now I can get Muss and Turners at lunch without having to drive to Smyrna.

So happy to see Muss & Turners now in East Cobb. Fabulous cocktails (try a Moscow Mule with Vixen Vodka) and a wonderful craft beer selection. Try Swifty's Dream or a Big Green Egg burger. Neither disappoint.

Bright interesting place. While new, servers were very knowledgeable about the menu. All items sounded very interesting which occassioned some extra time to decide on what to have. Our choices were excellent, and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie for desert was fabulous.

We ordered the chicken matzo ball soup ($9) and a pastrami sandwich ($12). The soup was okay, but a small portion. The pastrami sandwich was supposed to have just mustard, but was LOADED with horseradish too. There was just four thin slices of meat on the entire sandwich. For twelve dollars! The acoustics follows the new trend of all hard surfaces, so the noise level was almost painful, even though the restaurant was only about 1/3 full.
