Have stayed in this location for 15 plus years. I understood that new owners had upgraded rooms with new beds, etc. and that is good.
What is extremely disappointing is they advertise free internet. After checking in on this trip, internet is minimum to zero. Talked to 2 front desk clerks, both said it is a service provider issue. I did not book my room through an internet service provider!!
Also, with no login security passwords, when you can get online, there is no security.
Totally disappointing!
If you need access to wi-fi as I did, try elsewhere. Extremely Frustrating!!

This hotel was not good. Check in was fine. We stayed on the 3rd floor and as soon as you got up there, it was about 10 degrees warmer than the other two floors. It smelled musty and the carpets were so filthy. A good vacuum would help. Our first room had hair all over the bed and in the tub and urine on the toilet seat and no air conitioning cover on the wall unit. So we asked to switch to another room. The second room was ok, not great, stains on the couch and really worn. This hotel is really dated and worn in general. Breakfast went till 9:30am, we got down there at 8:45 and they weren't replacing the food at that point, so we didn't have much to choose from. We could not wait to leave the hotel. Unfortunately, this is a small town and you don't have much to choose from as far as decent hotels.

This is by far an average hotel. Check In was smooth and uneventful. The rooms were big but dated. The best were newer so they slept fine. We skipped the breakfast buffet and opted to eat local instead. Overall a decent hotel for a quick overnight stay.

The hotel creates a great first impression with a beautiful open lobby. The staff at this hotel was so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. The room we stayed in was a king room with mini kitchen ( not sure what it was called). It was the only available at the time of our booking. The room was very large. There was a sleeper sofa and a table and chairs. Things appeared clean. However, the tub was a tall sided , Jacuzzi tub/shower. It was fine for us but others with slight mobility issues might find it hard to enter. Free wifi was included but quite frankly it did not exist. We tried, unsuccessfully , to connect the whole time we were there. Visitors should not count on having wifi connection. Free breakfast was included with our stay. The worker in the breakfast area was so very nice! She was helpful and friendly. The food was standard, warming kitchen, breakfast buffet. We found nothing remarkable about it. The staff here was wonderful .

Room Tip: Ask about bathrooms as the Jacuzzi tub would be hard for some to use.

We have stayed at many Holiday Inn brands across the United States and I must say this is the worse one we have ever stayed in. I want to start by saying the front desk clerk was extremely helpful and patient with us. We had to change rooms 3 times! I do not find that she should be to blame for the bad experience as she was kind and professional. The A/C's in this entire hotel need to be changed as well as the shower curtains. The first room and entire third floor was super hot and the shower curtain had a foul smell. We went to the next room, on the first floor, with a crooked bed that had 2 thin foam pads to help give the old mattress some cushion (unsuccessfully), that shower curtain had the same musty smell and the air conditioner was one of the "older" ones and did not work. So off to the last room we went on the second floor. This one did have a new mattress and the A/C worked a little better than the 2 other rooms, we still were sticky the entire night and yes, that shower curtain also smelled bad. Just a bad experience overall.
