After a long day of packing and moving and looking for a hotel for the night, we found ESA. Our room was okay, it was clean, which was most important. However, after we checked in, we could have paid an extra $10 to stay at the other ESA next door, which was more of a "luxury" than the one we stayed at. Although a decent hotel, it was not worth the money spent to stay there.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It is great to see you enjoyed your room accommodations, but disappointing you didn't prefer the price for what you received. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better stay the next time you're in the area.

Returning from a family trip to Ohio. After searching on line (my wife and I both) for over an hour, my wife found this at 9:30 PM. 12/31/2016 $102.00. First, there are 2 Extended Stays side by side. I have no clue where these other people with great ratings stayed but, it wasn't here. Had a group of 6 smoking, foul mouthed young people blocking the front door. My wife had to bring a contract out for me to sign also, about behavior, underage drinking and damages. We got to room 231 and upon entering were hit with the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke and funky odor. Called the front desk (as this was a non smoking room) they said it was coming in through the ventilation system from the 3rd floor (smoking floor). We smoke but, not inside and not in our vehicles as, we have an 8 year old son (who was with us). Turned on the bathroom vent. No ice bucket, no ice machine on the premises, no dishes of any kind, we got a coffee maker from the front desk and were informed we had to supply our own coffee. Turning on the heater we were hit with a strong combination of old cigarette smoke and a chemical burning smell. Old furnishings, old bedding, old flooring. Looks okay from the outside.

Nothing was clean here. The halls were filthy and had a distinct odor of funk and cigarettes. The staff were also very rude and not accommodating. The muffins at breakfast were stale. Would not suggest to others and will stay else where when back in the area.

Staff was great and the king suite was very spacious and comfortable. Pia and kathie were very hospitable during my 2 month stay. I definitely recommend this location that is very convenient for shopping and dining near the hotel.

I was skeptical because of the reviews but decided 3.5 out of 5 was worth a try.
Location: 5.0
Venture Parkway is a street lined with extended stay hotels- from Hyatt Place to Quality Inn. Thus, your stay here is just as safe as any hotel along the street. Within an 8 minute radius is every restaurant you could want, Dollar Tree, Walmart, Publix, Kroger.
Facility: 4.0
There is a bush blocking the address and the driveway is easy to miss and the taller Extended Stay that is adjacent to this one is more "inviting".
Have realistic expectations for an Extended Stay. There is a difference between clean and immaculately maintained. Just as in your own home, you can clean all you want, but need different funds to fix and maintain the structure. The hotel is clean and the furniture is logically worn and used. The front office staff is very accommodating. Wifi is free with an additional fee for "high speed". Kitchen utensils (pot, pan, plates, cups, cutlery, can opener, etc) are free but available upon request. Laundry is $2 for washer and $2 for dryer.

I didn't see any bugs, no weird smells, no weird stains, shower felt great, bed was ok, when the AC kicks on it can be loud, but not unbearable. It is worth the discounted rate I paid.

Room tip: 2nd floor is non-smoking
