Rooms had recently been remodeled and were large, nice and clean. Motel is right on the highway so ask for room at back of building. Check in was great, gentleman at desk was very efficient and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and although towels were thin, they were plentiful, as was shampoo, conditioner, and lotion.
Had a breakfast that included cereal, waffles, bagels, muffins and sweet rolls. Also had eggs (although it was those awful flat patties that some motels use) with biscuits and gravy. Location is within minutes of downtown. Prices very reasonable.

Room Tip: be sure to ask for room on opposite side of highway.

The best review I can give this hotel is to say that the manager was very kind to our group. All of Dahlonega was booked for the fall leaf/mountain wedding/festival goers weekend. He allowed us to use rooms that were sort of blocked off for a wedding guest list. They had a descent little breakfast in the morning.

We made reservations well in advance at this hotel because we were coming in during the Gold Rush festival and wanted to be close by. We paid a very high price for 2 nights, but since the hotel was close, we decided to splurge. The front staff seemed friendly enough and even the room at first glance seemed fine...just minor complaints (thin towels, noise), but then as we were lying back on the bed during our second night, we saw some bugs on the ceiling, then a few on the wall. We looked up other hotels to find them unavailable or too far away, so we stayed. I did tell a woman at the front desk and when describing them to her, she said, "it's okay...they don't bite or sting though." We will NEVER STAY HERE again.

This was an inexpensive hotel that while clean was definitely old and on the highway. Night noises from the outdated A/C to the refrigerator to the highway were a bit of an issue. Rooms had A/C off on arrival giving the room a musty smell. Very small breakfast room with minimal choices....but friendly staff.

Room (302) clean, water hot. Room was spacious and well laid out. Internet good. Location fine, parking ample, desk clerk cheerful and helpful.

Walls are thin. Rooms in the front face the road; you hear all the traffic noise and rush hour starts at 6:30 in Dahlonega.

The motel is in good condition but is an older building. Lobby is small and there are no interior corridors.

Value 5/5. Internet 5/5. Overall 5/5. I recommend it and would stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms in back are quieter.
