We were seeking a quiet, away-from-the-crowd type of rental, and it was found @ Wildacre Cabin. Lovely cabin with creek running in front of the yard made for quiet and serene moments. Big screened-in front porch was a quiet respite. Master bedroom was complete with comfortable king bed and delightful master bath. Cabin was rustic with modern upgrades. Kitchen was well supplied with all we needed to make meals, and a nice gas grill right outside kitchen area. A plus was the Wi-Fi. The cabin was central to activities we enjoyed including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and antiqueing in nearby Ellijay. Would highly recommend this rental and return if given the opportunity.

My two young sons and I stayed in this cabin in late November 2010. We were blessed with fantastic weather - cool at night but warmish during the day - so we could take advantage of the whole experience. Tramping about in the woods by daylight, sitting around the fire at night.

The cabin is immaculate, roomy, beautifully appointed with lots of charming detail. The master suite with its bathroom with a jetted tub and heated floor is practically luxurious. The directions for check in were clear and exact. The owners left a lovely welcoming gift basket which included a gift for my little boy who had just had a birthday!

The setting is ideal. The drive leads past a gate along the creek to the cabin, which sits at the bend of the creek, in a small holler. It's safe, but basically isolated - there are no super close neighbors. The creek runs steadily, the woods are quiet - but civilization is not too far away.

This was a wonderful treat - a lovely hideaway. We will certainly return!
