This is a street food experience - as much as is possible - in a restaurant setting. Met my two 20 something daughters for dinner. Enjoyed some TIger beer with a couple of fun appetizers - steamed buns, and bao buns. Moved on to Kari Chicken and Grandma's won ton with BBQ pork. All the dishes come out pretty much at the same time. If I had it to do over I would order appetizers. Then wait and order dinner entrees. Service is outstanding. Food is tasty but not outstanding. Good value though and the entertainment factor is high.

Food Terminal's chef is one of my favorites from top spice. The food is Thai and Malaysian and you receive a magazine style menu with colorful pictures with accurate explanations. No guessing like most Pho or other Asian restaurants unless you are Asian. The good news is that there are lots of Asian and as well as Indian people eating at the restaurant which usually means its authentic. This is a Foodie place for sure especially if you adventurous in your food choices

The Food Terminal has a really cool presence on Buford Highway and a chic interior design. Unfortunately, the food and cuisine did not meet up to its interior design.
The meats were overcooked and the soups lacked depth of flavor and laden with
noodles. The service was decent enough.

Took my husband to the Food Terminal for lunch for a belated Father's Day meal after reading about in Atlanta Magazine or Eater, Atlanta. It is self described as Malaysian and Asian Street Food, but to be quite honest I am not particularly a fan of Asian food so I would not necessarily know the difference regardless. Having said that I can whole heartedly say I am now a fan. First and foremost they have endless options. Their menu is literally comprised of a glossy magazine with a table of contents that neatly outlines their offerings from noodles to skewered to rotis and more. It's borderline imitimidating. You then check the box beside the dish you select on one of their paper order slips. Needless to say with so many options you cannot help but try more than you can eat. I had Grandma's Wonton BBQ Pork, some wonton and a plain roti. My husband order two different skewers and a dumpling-esque soup. The first thing we both commented on was how nice it was to NOT be salt ridden. Neither were any of the dishes terribly oily. All in all it was an awesome meal and I am looking forward to going back and trying some more!

Food Terminal is an excellent new restaurant for the Buford Highway area. The building is upscale, with plenty of room and fine details at every turn. We did an early lunch because it does get busy later on. The waitstaff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. If you have time check the menu online before you go because it is 40+ pages and growing. Each item offered has a full color photo and a complete description, including the item number. That item number is good to remember and makes ordering easier. Once seated, we each took a printed order form, our fancy menu, and set to work.

I had the Grandma Wonton BBQ Pork with tossed noodles and bok choy, topped with a fried egg (TN01 for $9.50.) It is a complete meal and delicious! Someone at the table shared her fried pig's ear appetizer and it was really really good. For a drink I had their Thai tea. It was a small glass but very tasty.

Parking is a private lot shared by a strip mall. We had a party of 6, but you could easily take a larger group and find seating.
