Description: Our rock-themed tavern is a fun hangout for locals and visitors. It's a laid-back, casual and welcoming place to have delicious, fresh, regionally-sourced comfort food with a pretty big twist. We are working closely with our foodservice provider to source all of our ingredients from farms as close to the tavern as possible. We also source from a couple of local farms directly. No Freezers, No Microwaves, No Kidding. Our craft bar is built around our 10 beer taps (all from Georgia) and an awesome craft whiskey / bourbon selection. We also carry more than 20 bottled beers and a full bar for exceptional cocktails, using fresh-squeezed juices. We have great music, a couple of dart boards and shuffleboard tables, to add to the fun. We built out with as much reclaimed materials as possible, use environmentally-safe cleaning products and to-go containers, and will use energy-efficient products. We can't wait to see y'all here for a burger and beer !!

Food was okay, I personally had the Cuban which compared to what everyone else got it was a bit small but still tasted good. Would come back and get one of their burgers. Drink prices are a bit higher end for a tavern, but not outrageous.

the menu choices here are better and more varied than your average blue ridge eatery. they seem to emphasize on the spicy side of the dishes, which is fine by me.

My husband and I had very been to Fightingtown so we decided to go this past Tuesday for your anniversary. Although I did like the atmosphere, the food left little to be desired. The "twisted tacos" for that night were so spicy you couldn't even taste any of the ingredients in the taco. And the black beans are just horrible, strange flavor and has a grainy texture that is not very appealing. My husband had the crab cake that was a bit better but he said the best thing on his plate was the french fries.

My husband and I went in around 4 p.m. on a Saturday. Not a very busy time at all. Menu was hard to read, with strange names for common items. Service was extremely slow. Waited 45 minutes for a burger and a garden salad and a side of pasta salad. Ketchup was disgusting... tasted like salsa with sugar added. We never would have ordered a burger and french fries if we had known. We can't understand why they can't keep regular ketchup on hand as an option. Many of the front wait staff appeared unsanitary. We are open minded people but it's odd to see wait staff with purple hair, blue lips, gaged ears, stripped bell bottom pants and numerous piercings. Not our cup of tea. For the price of a meal here ($40 for a burger, garden salad, side of pasta salad, one beer and one margarita), it is definitely not up to par.

Late last summer while visiting, we stopped in for lunch. Was not impressed by the food at all. Have been back to Blue Ridge many times since, but too many other fantastic places downtown, so probably won't return.
