We went on a Saturday night and had reservations which were made earlier in the week. We chose outside after being told there would be entertainment. Yes there was entertainment if you consider that the part of the restaurant closest to the outdoor seating was the equivalent of a sports bar with rowdy fans watching college games. The food and service was both nothing special and certainly not worth the price which I’d be willing to pay for if the quality and service.was comenserate. All in all a huge disappointment and not close to the quality ownership thinks it offers.

When we made reservations, sitting outside was recommended because there would be music outside. There was no music. The placemats were dirty. The menus were wrinkled and worn. The utensils didn’t match and seemed like they were from your grandmother’s cellar or the Dollar Store. We never were served bread. We waited about 15 minutes for a drink menu and then got one drink menu for four people to share. After they finally took our drink order, the drinks took forever to come. The quality of the food was equivalent to an inexpensive chain restaurant and definitely not worth the steep price. We came here because of favorable reviews, but were very disappointed in every aspect of the experience.

My wife and I had dinner there last night. The place was packed. It took a long time to get our drinks. We had calamari and tuna nachos for appetizers. I also had oysters on the half shell. There was barely any tuna on the nachos. They used to have nice slices of tuna. We each had a crab cake for our entrees. They were good. Our server Craig was outstanding.

This was our first time here, we loved it! Our waiter matt navigated us through the menu, made suggestions and described entrees to us. We were a table of 4, we were si impressed with matt and his knowledge of the menu, we asked him to pick out a bottle of red wine for us, he chose the chaulk hill cabernet, to go with entrees. This was a great choice, we all really enjoyed it alot, i had the strip steak, my wife had filet, and our friends got the fruit de mar, and lamb chops. All cooked perfectly with amazing flavor, the chef really knows stuff. For dessert we shared the bread pudding and pecan pie. We had a terrific experience, great service, great food. Even the manager or owner came by the table and made small talk with us. When we were leaving the staff said thanks for coming, and someone got the door for us.
Cant wait to come back, thanks Black Sheep!
