Vacation Village is not a hotel, it is a Time Share complex. Expect an intensive sales pitch and take all that's on offer. I always feel angry, cheated or embarrassed after these encounters. If only they would accept no thank you.
That over, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the pool is good as are the grounds.
The apartments are clean but showing their age and the beds and pillows are wonderful. Hot water took a while to get to the taps and the bathroom was too large it was using the loo in a room that was bigger than the kitchen area.
Lots of road noise in fact lying by the pool it sounded like a lot of piston aircraft flying by. Its a bit remote and Weston town centre is a bit of a non centre. Lots of vultures around, honest.

Thank you for your online review on Vacation Village at Bonaventure. You are correct; we are a timeshare resort. That means that our facility offers certain amenities and accommodations that you would not usually find in regular hotel rooms like spacious dining and living rooms, and a full kitchen. We are at least happy to know that you were pleased with our friendly staff. We hope your next vacation is much better than this time.

Stayed in a one bedroom with a kitchen, dining area, living room, bathroom and balcony. Every room was a good size but furniture needs to be updated! Pull out couch was too worn to use! Pool area is nice and staff are helpful and friendly.

With family in the area, this was a good resort to make a home base. Not much to do in that area, however, as a base, it was terrific. It's a drive to nice restaurants, but there are many in the area. It's close to I-75 but we didn't get any noise from it.

Place needs a total renovation! Was here 4 years ago and this place has really come down. The main pool is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained but the actual units are really old and dirty.

Stayed at Flamingo 1 - let's just say the whole place needs to be gutted and remodeled. Everything is from the 1980's.
The sofa bed needed to have an extra mattress put on top to make it somewhat comfortable for my son. The main king bed the mattress needs to be replaced.

The fridge sounds like it's falling apart - there is rust in the inside top of the fridge door - the shower is old and dirty, yes it has 2 shower heads but both are controlled by only one temperature and you can't shut one off you have to use both. The room that the toilet was in smelled like urine and feces - pipes need to be replaced, the door had to stay open because the smell was so overwhelming- just get rid of the gross jetted tub - no one uses these anymore due to the amount of bacteria they collect.

Gut the rooms, renovate and you'll be overflowing with reservations.

Thank you for your online review on our resort. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are sorry if our resort did not meet your expectations. We are currently in the process of updating some of our older units. Surely, if the front desk had known of these issues, they would have done something to make you better accommodated. We hope your next vacation South Florida is better.

Second time we have been there, this time it was very busy, pool was crowded very hard to find a good place to sit. Last time we were overlooking the pool this year we were across the parking lot. Place is clean and comfortable. Need to drive to nearby restaurants. Not one of my favorites.

Thank you for coming to our resort again. You must have really liked Vacation Village at Bonaventure the first time you came. We are sorry if this time around our resort was a little more crowded. That can happen during the Summer months here in Florida. At least you were still satisfied with our cleanliness and comfortable units. We hope you return again in the future.
