My parents live in Venice and highly recommended it. I can see why. Everything our family had was delicious! The portions are large and the food is fresh. There is a live duo playing every Friday night.

We had no reservation. The first restuarant we stopped at in Venice had an unacceptable wait so we wandered over to the Dockside. Pretty much the same story here except there was a hi-top table available outside adjacent to the tiki bar area. We took that and it worked out great. The food was good, not great. The poor waitress (Donna F) was very, very busy but she was attentive and pleasant. What we most enjoyed was the waterfron and watching the people in the tiki bar area.
Like many of the restaurants on the water in this area, we recommend that you make reservatons.

Met a small group of people here for a late lunch social gathering last Friday afternoon. There was live music playing while we waited to be seated. The music was very good and the (short) wait went by quickly. The service was excellent - the server was friendly and attentive. I had a sandwich and my wife had a salad. Both were very good. The location at a marina was interesting and entertaining. I would recommend this restaurant to others.

We docked out front at this place at the edge before you go under the bridge. You are able to pull up on the other side via car as well. Man I don’t like the word “via”.
So geography teacher like. We did not eat dinner here, however we did have a really yummy drink and sat looking at the water before heading out to another location for dinner. I’ve been told it gets extremely crowded because it it is such a hotspot for not only the locals but the tourists. I will say, as we were leaving, the restaurant part across the parking lot started to get extremely crowded. Seemed like a casual but cool place! I would love to come back sometime and try the food too!

We deciided to take our visitors out fir fish. We arrived about 7 PM and were told it would be an hour and 15 minutes wait. We decided to wait bt the marina, watching the boats and the birds. The Nina and Int, replica sailing ships, were in port so there was lots to look at. We called by beeper after an hour’s wait. We had been listening to the live music from a distance and suddenly we were just one table away. We ordered our meals and we realized our wait was worth it. The calamari, lobster roll, scallops and grouper were awesome.
