Billboards lay claim to Kobe beef delineating a different quality of beef. Over-well-done kills that quality. I understand you want it 'done.' But the burger was over done, dry and tasteless. The fries were soggy and greasy. So the oil was not to temperature. Whether they blanched potatoes or not. If the fryer isn't to temperature from start-up or from recovery potatoes will soak in the oil and not cook properly. i.e. Not crisp and cook, but will be soggy and grease laden.
The mac and cheese sauce, way to loose, liquid-like. Needed to thicken it.
The shake was good. When you use Hagen Daz, it's sort of a no brainer.
This was all under the nose of the owner of Burger Monger. Eager for ego, but not of quality.
I wish and wanted to be writing something different. Burger 21 is a poorly run operation, Goody-goody is poor, so five guys is still the go to.
I wish there was a meatheads, smash burger, or out of LA, Rounds burgers, let alone In 'n Out!
So the $15 burgers are safe from encroachment.
It'll be awhile before I try it again.
