Stayed at the Cabin 2 nights and it was great! Clean place, fully equipped kitchen, nice porch to watch the sunset, quiet place to watch wildlife such as deer, squirrel, alligator even from your cabin ! Really unique and fantastic experience!

The campground is a little tight, not much privacy between sites but Lake Seminole is the big attraction, three rivers converge. many campers bring their boats and fishing gear. It's a very popular campground, soon as one camper leaves, another arrives in their place. I saw plenty of deer, owls and thought I saw the Florida skunk ape walking in the woods late one evening.I don't know what person would be walking in the woods when it was dark. I was shining my spot light in the woods when i noticed something upright walking the woods, My wife saw it too and we don't have an explanation on what it was, weird. Don't let stop you from coming here, it's a nice place to visit.

We arrived on a Sunday to camp sites 23 and 24. These are both paved handicapped sites across from the bath house. The sites were clean with picnic tables, fire pits, clotheslines, and grills. There are views of Lake Seminole from both sites. The man and lady camp hosts ( from Canada) were both very pleasant and helpful. They seemed like they were hard workers and enjoyed what they were doing! The bathhouse was very clean every time I went in there. The thing I loved was that they had installed handheld shower sprayers, which made my life much easier giving my adult autistic son a shower! Thank you! The whole campground was kept clean and seemed orderly. The pier is very nice, with people occasionally fishing from it! We had a little picnic lunch on the pier one day, took our chairs there and ate, it was awesome! There are paths and trails all over for walking. There is a different area that is a picnic area with pavilions and a playground and bath house, overlooking the lake that is beautiful! We could only get a few tv channels with the antenna, and too many trees in the way to catch any satellite. A couple of days here is good, after that, it starts to get a little boring, but it is a great park!

The campground is wonderful! Great sites, some right along the lake. Most have great view of lake. We arrived on a Sunday and there was no ranger at the station. Didn't know we should proceed to campground. Check-in is IN the campground at 4:00 CT. Also if you camp on the lake it can get very windy making it difficult to cook outdoors or start a fire (just something to consider). Campground it well maintained, restrooms clean, and great hot showers with plenty of room. Great trails though out the park. We took the Eagle Trail one evening at dusk and saw a 2/3 month old eaglet in the nest. We saw lots of deer and had an osprey that brought fish to a tree in our site to eat. Canoe rentals offered for $15 a day. The kids had a great time exploring with the canoe. Fishing dock and boat ramp right in campground. Not too much in the main area of the park - view of lake, playground, picnic tables, and restroom. Great park to camp and get away to enjoy nature.
