Absolutely beautiful! We got in late at night so we were not able to see the giant lake that engulfs your view. When we woke up the next morning the view was a plesant and breath-taking suprise. The facilities were clean, the water was hot, and the hosts were the friendliest people we have encountered camping. It was mid February so it was still pretty chilly with a high in the 40s durning the day so be prepared. My son rented a canoe and had a blast. We had camped here when he was a little guy 15 years ago and have always wanted to return. The updates and new additions are awesome! This campground is in my top 5 of all time to date.

Sites were private and shaded. Saw deer every day. Great lakeside spots. Nice for small boats, canoes and kayaks.

Great clean place! It's right on the lake so bring bug spray! It is beautiful with woods all around and a very clean restroom facility.

We only got to spend 1 night here, but it was wonderful. Very quiet. Staff is very friendly, helpful and do a lot to maintain this gem of a campground. There is power hook up. There is a dump station on site. Public bathroom with spacious showers. Super clean and comfortable.
There is a canoe/kayak launch and a little pier.
Would return!

Camped here in the group section with Boy Scouts. Site was shady and well-maintained with clean bathrooms and showers. A short trail took us to Lake Seminole for fishing (those tree across the water are Georgia, by the way). Rented canoes to paddle and fish on the lake, though we were warned the stay off the main body of the lake because the wind and waves would make paddling difficult. Trails through the longleaf pine-and-live oak savannah are good for short hikes and the lucky run-in with whitetail deer, hordes of twittering birds in the treetops and the local Sherman's fox squirrel -- big enough to put the regular old grey squirrel to shame. They will come right into your campsite and look you right in the eye.
