One of the places that must be on your bucket list if you visit the area. If celebs go there they must be doing something right. Always great outdoor fun with great bands and very, very good food.

Mattison's has a really cool atmosphere but was a bit pricey. The food was pretty good but seemed expensive for the amount that we received. Definitely a really fun place to hang out on a warm night!

We really enjoyed the three evenings we came here. Sitting outside on the corner patio with the band playing was exactly what we were looking for and this place did not disappoint us. We had fun dancing to the music. Service was good. Great crowd. We especially appreciated that it's location on the corner meant we were not choked by cigarette smoke as we were at most places in Florida (many of which we were forced to leave shortly after arriving). Florida's not banning smoking is the main reason we would not consider retiring to this state.

Went for New Years Eve. Got a reservation for 4 even a few days after Christmas. The entire menu was available, the prices weren't jacked up and the food was prepared with care even though the place was a mad house. I had lobster, my girlfriend had salmon, her husband had prime rib and mine had lamb. My husband even made a special request with how his lamb was cooked, and it was perfect. The "hostess" (I suspect she was an owner or manager) came by several times to check on us, as did the waiter. The band was very good, although the tunes were not to our taste-- oldies-- but most of the diners were dancing up a storm (and were older than my party). We had a great time, with each course perfectly timed, right down to the amazing creme brulee. It takes a great deal of skill to do that on such a busy night. BRAVO!

The place was hectic at 7:30 on the Wednesday between Christmas and New Year's (by far, the most crowded place on Main Street), but we immediately got a table (4 adults, 2 kids). Heat lamps kept us warm since it was chilly. The band was in full swing -- the place was noisy, but the energy was fun and lively. Ordered some beers, lobster bisque, house salad and the meatloaf. Service was a little slow at first but picked up. Everything was fine -- good-size portions.
