Opened in March, the Inn hasn't had time to get a scratch on her. We found free parking excellent, the front desk and check in fantastic with helpful people (Connie and Katrina) pleasant and efficient. The deluxe room (401) was oversized with a mini kitchen. With the Amish heritage, the Inn does not serve alcohol and request non drinking in public areas. Not a problem, we had ours in our room. Found all the staff and, surprisingly, other guests to be very friendly. Complementary breakfast was a definite upgrade with tasty eggs and hash browns. Waffles were also available.

Rates simply added to the value and short drives (20 to 25 minutes) put us in downtown Sarasota for excellent museums and restaurants.

AND Finally, Big Olaf's Creamery (ice cream) is close by.

Thank you Carlisle Inn

Room Tip: Deluxe if you want a kitchen or larger room.

Stayed a night while visiting family. The Inn has a nice feel to it; big wide hallways, immaculate, comfortable room, nicely decorated in a simple, modern-farmhouse style. It's 15 minutes to downtown. Very, very nice. This is going to be my favorite place to stay when I'm in town!

Room Tip: 3rd floor was nice. No outside noise.

If you are looking for an amazing hotel experience at a reasonable price, this is the place for you. We stayed here for three nights at the end of April, and we were shocked at what we got for the price. Your stay includes a great breakfast featuring items from Der Dutchman, the Amish restaurant next door (amazing as well), and snacks at dinner hour. The pool was small, but adequate and spotless (and the perfect temperature). There is a small laundry room, and a fantastic fitness room overlooking the pool area. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had a standard room, but it was huge, with two queen beds, a dressing area with a sink and mirror, big bathroom, and coffee maker. The best part is the location - only a five to ten minute drive to the beach areas, and very close to Downtown Sarasota and the Bay. I'd book another stay in a heartbeat - my new "go to" hotel in Sarasota.

We had a great weekend celebrating my Mom's 75th birthday. We stayed in the King's Suite. It was very spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Everyone there from the front desk to the cleaning people were very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommending the Carlisle Inn.

This brand new hotel just opened up in the Amish area of Sarasota, just behind a large Amish restaurant. That being said, the look is very modern with an understated Amish theme. The entire staff, front desk, housekeeping, management, dining area...was wonderful! ROOMS: Everything spot on, as it should be with all items being brand new. HALLS: So roomy and open..you could literally drive 1-2 golf carts through them. BREAKFAST AREA: Spacious, well laid out, plenty of seating...also used a connected open area which is kind of like a Den/Library during the rest of the day with TV, Games, etc. FOOD: Usual hotel hot/cold fare with the exception of the baked goods and bread coming from the restaurant bakery. 3 types of cookies served in the afternoon/evening. POOL: Outside, small..didn't use DEFINITELY WOULD STAY AGAIN IF IN THE AREA!
