After having a horrific experience at the Days Inn (I posted a review on here about them) across the street from this Red Roof Inn, we were greeted with beautiful smiling faces and TOP OF THE LINE Customer Service!!
Robin who works at the Front Desk and Lisa who is the Manager of Housekeeping were absolutely OUTSTANDING!!
We walked in the door totally distressed and full of anxiety, not knowing what we were going to do or where we were going to go. We were displaced by Hurricane Irma back in Flagler Beach, FL. 2 1/2 hours away. FEMA helped us with lodging and St Pete was the closest place with space available.
The Red Roof Inn was not on the directory posted by FEMA but we were welcomed with open arms as soon as we hit the lobby.
Robin and Lisa assured us that they would take care of us and would give us a room. Not one, but two!! They were very compassionate, empathetic and VERY PROFESSIONAL! They checked us in right away and our rooms were BEAUTIFUL. The room was very clean and fresh and all of the staff were very helpful. This was the BEST night's sleep I've had since Hurricane Irma.
Also, I do not want to forget to mention Marvin from housekeeping. He was also amazing! No matter how many questions I had, he had ALL the answers in a very polite and professional manner! He rocks! ALL of the staff here rocks!
The owner of this place hit the jackpot when it comes to his/her staff!
Thank you!

We were forced to evacuate from the Florida Keys due to the hurricane and the staff at the hotel made us feel very comfortable. Thank you Robin, Dawn, Stephanie, and everyone else for taking such a good care of us, being so understanding and flexible. All of our requests were met with a smile, even though the the staff was extremely busy with every room being booked. Room was clean, fresh towels delivered, pool was amazing too. Thank you again.

This is our second hurricane-related (power outage) stay at this facility, which I think used to belong to another chain--still the same hidden gem, behind Denny's in a mostly-industrial strip of US 19. Rooms are comfortable and now well equipped with all the outlets anyone could need for charging/powering laptops and mobile devices, but the surprising thing here is the lush landscaped courtyard with a beautiful pool, a fountain, there's even a fitness center, amenities you never see at this price point. The location is also an easy drive from just about anywhere you'd want to go in St Pete Clearwater. For the economy minded traveller, this place is ideal for families, business travellers, and anyone traveling with pets.

The staff here has done a wonderful job taking care of Hurricane-Irma evacuees, displaying patience and humor in trying circumstances. We have enjoyed our stay here, getting recharged (literally!) while waiting for Duke Energy to restore our power.

Room Tip: Best rooms are those facing courtyard, unless you're a smoker then you'd want an outside room.

Stayed here for 2 nights to escape Hurricane Irma.
Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Allowed pets.
Never lost a/c during the storm.
Jamer and Lucky at the front desk were very nice during a very stressful time.
Kudos to everyone who works there.

Room Tip: If you want yo swim, choose a room around the inner courtyard.

The staff and management really went out of their way to help during my evacuation stay at the hotel for Hurricane Irma. Couldn't have asked for a more helpful and dedicated staff. The hotel is going through renovations which are partially complete, so the hotel should be very nice when this is all done.

Room Tip: Ask for room with fridge. Not all have them.
