A large group of us went for lunch on a weekday. We were seated right away and a waiter took our drink orders and said they would be able to split the check. However this was never communicated to our waitress when she took over at delivery of the drinks, though we got it straightened out quickly.

I ordered the guacamole appetizer, it was very good with lots of chips to accompany it. I ordered the palomilla and it was thin and tough, however the plantains served with it were excellent and the shoestring fries very good. Others had various dishes on the menu, which was extensive, and all loved their dishes so I guess I got the wrong thing.

Our waitress had too many tables so it took a while to get a check. I would return but with a smaller group and order a different dish.

My husband and I use to go to Red Mesa every Saturday when we lived close. The food is delicious. You honestly can't go wrong with any choice but my favorites are the corn on the cob, empanadas, breakfast burrito and my ultimate favorite is their Michelada. The outside seating is a great way to enjoy the food and ambiance. The service keeps you coming back.

Great new roof top bar. The ambience upstairs is great and it would make the perfect place for a happy hour. There's not many food options at Desanto , but the drinks were good. This area is a great way to end dinner with a drink afterwards. Would definitely go back.

We had a party of 11 with a prior reservation for a brunch. Saturday 1130am. We liked the place. Excellent location with plenty of indoor and even more outside seating. With that said, the restaurant was quite busy and we saw every inside table turn over during our stay. Perhaps they were short staffed. Our server Ian was very professional, personable but possibly a bit overwhelmed or seemed to be making the best of a bad situation. Very long waits for rounds of beverages (20-30 minutes), very long wait for food (close to an hour). Heat lamp counters noted several times to be full of plated food awaiting pickup. Half of our party received their food and waited with food getting cold for nearly 15 minutes for the remainder of the table to be served. Not enough bathrooms
to support such a crowded place. Food was all excellent!! Drinks were excellent!! Check this place out IF you have at least a couple of hours to wait for service.
