The Seahorse has been around for something like 80 years, and you can view their history through the pictures decopauged into the tables or along the walls. They offer breakfast and lunch only, but most go for breakfast. They have traditional breakfast but also have a large selection of omelets and home made corned beef hash. A star side for me is their grits, which are smothered in decadent butter and sooo good. The prices are very reasonable (toast, eggs, meat, hash browns and grits are $7.99). and both the hostess and waitresses are very helpful and friendly. If you like a traditional place with good food, you need to try the Seahorse. It is set on the historic corner of Pass-a-Grille way and 8th avenue, right across from the fishing marina.
