I have to say, the Sea Porch is a gem!! It is not only the perfect location to have a celebration of any kind, but they honestly have it all! Harry, the Manager at the Sea Porch, was Top Notch. He went above and beyond to ensure that nothing was left out. His wait staff, especially Bradley, was there to accommodate all of our needs. Nothing could have been any better. Thank you for a very memorable evening. My 50th Birthday was more then I could have ever imagined, thanks to you. So grateful.

It’s about location. The Sea Porch at Don Cesar is an excellent place. Server Nikki, did a perfect job. As for the food, the fish tacos and beach burger were good. However the cook should learn again how to fix a bowl of fries. Ours were a bit undercooked. Nothing to complain, but the fries could have been better. Therefore 4 out of 5 stars.

Been to this restaurant many times in the past and despite changes in hotel ownership, the food outside of breakfast remains mediocre. This trip had a hamburger which came juicy and lukewarm with nondescript fries. Better off going to Wendy's by far. Service is excellent though. Breakfast is a different story with great service and good breakfast food, especially the buffet on weekends and during high season.

Wonderfu food and service with a great beach and sunset view. There was ample parking and no parking fee when we went which is rare for St. Pete Beach. We'll go back for sure

The Don Cesar has been one of the most elegant hotels in the country since it opened in the 1920s, since Babe Ruth was a resident. Located at 3400 Gulf Boulevard on St. Petersburg Beach, Florida, on the Gulf of Mexico, the famed "Pink Palace" is the most luxurious tourist destination on Florida's West Coast. It has many attractive amenities, including the Sea Porch restaurant, which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner to guests with an outdoor patio and poolside seating as an added bonus. We didn't stay at the Don this year--we already have reservations for a three-day stay in June 2019--but we did manage to slip in a luncheon date at the Sea Porch. For openers, there is nothing like a cool drink on a hot day. Like a big glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and pineapple juice and a Banana Berry Dream smoothie, which consists of strawberry, banana, yogurt and almond butter. For lunch, we enjoyed a shrimp cocktail, a cup of shrimp and crab chowder, a Classic Caesar salad, a Turkey Club sandwich and grilled New York Strip with buttermilk mashed potatoes, a large slice of key lime mousse pie and a cinnamon apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Patrick Gossett, the Chef de Cuisine, take a bow.
