We had a great day surf fishing. Use exit 4 to fish, since it has the deepest waters. People are nice and helpful ....

The park is very bicycle friendly and flat. There is really nothing much to see except dunes. There are some private beaches with very nice facilities. The camping and youth camp is on the bay. We did not ride over to check it out becasue the flies were biting and really hurt!! It was after Tropical Storm Colin so maybe it isn't like that all the time.

We visited last year for the day. It's clean, well-maintained, and on the East Side of St. George Island. It has bathrooms, and a pavilion with (I think) drinks available. Lots of sun here, and seems like it's never too crowded.

Honestly, I've been to beaches all over the world... The sugar sand, the endless view, and the emerald waters made this a pristine location!!

Birthday weekend. First visit and we were blown away by the pristine beaches and stunning views. Gorgeous beach town, beautiful state Park which was well maintained. Only thig the park Ranger at the gate was pretty rude to us when we asked questions about the public fishing pier . I assumed he was having an off weekend as his attitude lasted thru our stay. Other than that we were extremely pleased!!

Thank Ciara K
