Look no further than Cafe Alcazar for a culinary experience like no other for lunch. The setting is historical and whimsy; and...the food mouthwatering, freshly prepared, perfectly portioned and artistically presented.
Most assuredly an 11 out of 10!

I've only been for lunch. We had 10 peole so we made reservations and everything was ready when we arrived. We all had something different and everyone enjoyed their food. Service was great and the piano music was a nice touch. A little hard to find but just ask.

1st time we'd eaten here and what a delight! it's a little dark in the pool/antique mall area (hotel used to have glass ceiling!!) but they've added string lights, etc. so all was good. went for lunch, they were pretty busy, lots of ladies lunching but business men, couples too. we were only family w/kids there that I saw. Kids menu given to us verbally. Son said buttered pasta best he'd ever had! :) Daughter tried bean burrito off reg. menu and she was disappointed. said it looked prettier than it tasted. My veggie panini was good (supposed 'roasted veggies' but they had no color) and hubby said his roast beef panini was the best! beverages served in own carafes which is a nice touch. Waitress great. all good. we'd return.

The restaurant is in a building that was once a hotel. The restaurant is literally in the former indoor pool. The decor is very classy and the service was exceptional. The waiter actually seemed to enjoy doing his job. I had the chicken curry salad sandwich and it was excellent. My friend had a daily special. I can't remember what it was but I do remember that she loved it.

The sandwiches were so tasty. We had a great waiter and great food. I had a crab salad BLT sandwich which was filled with crab meat on Ciabatta bread. My friend tried the Curried Chicken salad which was also great. Reasonable priced in a very old historic building. If you are in the area, they are open to 3pm or so for a nice lunch. Not open for dinner.

Thank trudzie
