arrived at hotel and assigned rm 102. this was not ideal, but we seem to find that hotels give priceline customers the less than desirable rooms. This one in particular was disgusting. the room smelled like someone had lived there for awhile and had been urinating all over the room. the carpet was completely stained and mashed against the floor, like it had been flooded either by water or urine. we were exhausted and fell asleep not wanting to argue about a room. the next morning, we could tell the room was in very bad shape. when we showered, I first put the comforter and sheets down across the floors. I then washed the shower with our shampoo, so that we could at least stand in there.
We have stayed all over this country, in hotels, motels, B&Bs, Camp grounds etc, and this was the worst room I have ever been in.
I believe if the health department checked in there, they would fine holiday inn and close that particular room until the carpet was replaced and the room was decontaminated...they might even shut the entire hotel down, especially if the other rooms were similar to this one.More
