Saw some good reviews so decided to try it. What a let down!! I had the coconut shrimp platter which consisted of ten (10) shrimp and a very small amount of fries that looked and tested like they ran down to Captain D's got their leftovers brought them back heated them and served them as their own at a cost of nearly $17.00 a plate. I also had a house salad which consisted of a small bowl of lettuce three (3) cherry tomatoes two (2) slices of cucumber and several thin slices of onion. It was probably the saddest little salad I have ever seen. The kids had the fish nuggets, they were very dry and the portions were also small. If there was a up side to the food it would be that the blue cheese dressing was good. The only other good thing was the wait staff was pretty nice. Definitely won't waste my time or money going back.

This quaint restaurant is right across the street from the Sandpiper Beacon hotel. Very convenient for guests to walk to after a long day when you don’t feel like driving. Deluxe pizza was great—overflowing with meat and reasonably priced. Relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff.

We stayed at Sandpiper Beacon for the weekend and had the opportunity to enjoy multiple meals at Coconuts. We had breakfast there on two mornings and one dinner.

Each time, the hostess seated us promptly, offering a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and service was reasonable given the number of people at any time we were there. Some reviewers have mentioned slow service but in our three meals, we did not experience any abnormal wait times.

For dinner, husband had grilled grouper with cheese grits and salad. I had the fried shrimp dinner with fries and fruit cup. Both were delicious, freshly prepared and plentiful.

At breakfast, we tried a variety. Belgian waffles, one with strawberries (YUMMY) and another with candied pecans, sausage dogs (link sausage in pancake batter, served like a corn dog), cheese grits and home fries the first morning.

For our next breakfast, we tried omelettes. Husband tried the Deadliest Catch, which is described as Three eggs with Cream cheese, garlic-sauteed crab meat, green onions, and provolone cheese. It comes with toast and home fries or grits. It was seriously huge, fresh and delicious. Easily enough for the biggest appetite. I tried the cheese omelette, also served with the same sides. It was very good.

Food quality was above average to excellent. Service was great. Nice casual atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

They now offer breakfast. Reasonably priced. Food was average except the pancakes were chewy. Good service but we were the only people there.

The Service was great! Friendly and helpful staff! The appetizers (chicken nachos and volcano shrimp) were so huge my bf couldn’t even order a main dish lol! I got pizza and it was great also! We shared those three dishes and they were awesome!!
