So calm there, the only crowds are from the small tour boats that dock there delivering visitors. I didn't find any spectacular shells but did enjoy the long walk on the wooden deck through the protected island growth, and the beautiful, calm waters that met Me at the end. I walked further than any of the boat tourists (1 mile down the beach or further) and encountered little crabs, starfish, and other interesting sites. Would do again if ever in the area.Bring sunscreen and good beach shoes, there's NO shade anywhere and the deck walk is unbearably hot if you try to walk it barefooted. Also, bring water bottles...but don't even think of disposing them on the island...you can't!
