The Virage is behind the Bentley Boutique Hotel. The room was recently remodeled and very spacious and clean. You have to actually leave the Virage and go into the Bentley to get ice, use the pool and have breakfast, The things lacking in the room were hangers (there was no place to hang up clothes), better lighting and a mirror.
The beds were very comfortable and the towels were good quality. The highlight was a very nice made to order breakfast in the restaurant.
The detailing on room was lacking, which is shame for otherwise comfortable & nice looking room. Shower curtain missing 2 rings, plus vinyl see through design? Ok not my style, but everything appeared to be newly installed all I can say is why? Room phone did not work, we used our mobile phone to let front desk know to which they said they will check it out. 2 days later upon check out it still wasn't working. Ok no big deal. A major disappointment for my wife was NO BATHTUB! We inquired about upgrade since we were told tubs only available in suites, but none available. For the room rate we received this is first time we've had a room with no bathtub. I will say the shower was HUGE. Another issue was the lack of curtains on front windows! Only blinds, which did not provide enough privacy. were on ground level facing parking lot, so headlights were annoying and I swear every time someone walked by "slowly" they were looking into our room!
on plus side, A/C was working great! So good that I stopped by front desk on way out to dinner to request an extra blanket which never came. OK, these are minor details but I would've given 4 - 4 1/2 stars if not for lack of attention to these details. Hotel is located conveniently close to Siesta Key, Nokomis beach, Ellenton Premium Outlets if you wish to shop and restaurants. The amenities (pool, Tiki Bar..etc) of the Bentley hotel were available to us but we were out and preferred beaches anyway. Would I go back? Maybe
Looks like it was recently renovated. Very nice and very clean! So beautiful ❤️ loved the bathroom! Very comfy beds! We are now well-rested and ready for more fun :) it's only 15 mins from Siesta Key Beach and minutes from a bunch of restaurants like Outback and Longhorn. We had Longhorn and it was absolutely excellent !! The Virage and Bentley's boutique are separate units but same owner and you get all the amenities of Bentley's boutique hotel. The lobby's customer service was great! We are now going for breakfast and checking out the pool before we go! thank you! We'll be back ❤️❤️❤️
Bentley's is a comfortable hotel that is fairly close to Siesta Key and Turtle beach. the rooms are modern,comfortable and the shower is wonderful especially after a day at the beach. Friendly staff at the desk and Tiki bar (Try the Margaritas!), live music in the evenings was a nice touch by the pool which is a very nice size. We thought the lighting in the rooms could have been brighter and the bathrooms do not have a vent. The night lite by the door is pretty but I had to unplug it
Thank you for sharing such a lovely review about our hotel, we are happy you thoroughly enjoyed your stay here with us. We are convinitently located right off of US 41 to provide our guests with easy access to our beaches that surround us. When remodeling the hotel we ensured they would be unique compared to the normal chain hotel, being modern and designing our bathrooms with the glass shower wall really makes a difference for us to standout. Our Lono Tiki Bar that is just at the end of our pool also gives our guests a relaxing environment to swim or just relax by the pool and have a drink. We once again happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and we hope you return.
We've stayed here before they updated the rooms too. Very nicely done. Rooms are clean and modern. We stayed in the back section this time. Only problem I had was the outside noise when we went to bed. I could hear people walking around and talking outside our door. The free breakfast was better than a continental! You can also order from the menu if you desire. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great visit. We will stay here again.
