We had my wife and adult daughter. Started with bread service with chutneys and other dip able sides. Main course (short rib for me, lamb for my wife and seafood curry for daughter) were all excellent and enough to take back to the room for lunch the next day. Our server, Dave, was always attentive but never hovering. Great dinner!

Located in the Lodge at Animal Kingdom, my wife and I ventured in and tried this restaurant for a late dinner. I had the Short Rib and my wife had the Halibut. The service was excellent. Drinks at the bar were on point and well crafted. The bar tender was a super nice guy and the bar stools were comfortable. After a short wait we were seated by an excellent host and taken great care of by the service staff. Our server had a solid knowledge of the menu and was able to help navigate to the best of the menu. We had a Shrimp appetizer that was really nice with a blast of different and unusual flavors. The dish was excellent. The short rib was prepared perfectly and was accompanied by some very nice sauces that made the dish very tasty. The Halibut was the best of the two dishes. It was really prepared well and not over cooked. This is important with Halibut and the accompanying vegetables were very fresh and seasoned very nicely.

This is a Disney restaurant that really is worth the bill! Hope this helps you make a decision and you enjoy it as much as we did.

Once again the dress code is pretty loose, and if you want to fit in you'll want to dress up a bit. We came from the parks and felt super under dressed.

The host was very friendly and hospitable.

Our server was a very nice gentleman and took the time to answer all of our food questions.

We ordered the Oak-grilled Filet Mignon and the Maize-crusted Halibut, both dishes were amazing. The food here is very flavorful and enjoyable.

This is the type of atmosphere, service, and food quality you expect from an expensive restaurant.

We were one of the last parties to leave, but in no way did we feel rushed to leave.

We finished our stay in Florida with a couple of days at Disney in the Wild Kingdom hotel. We finished with a dinner here after a long day at the park. Service was good, and enjoyed the braised short ribs. Would recommend - just be prepared to spend as it’s relatively expensive ($40-50/ entree).

Everything at Jiko is very good but expensive. I preferred Sanaa at Kidani Village. What won we over at Sanaa was the indian-style bread service at Sanaa. But Jiko is excellent. Ask to sit in the main restaurant. The side room is a lot quieter, but I prefer the main dining room. notice how the light dims to reflect looking out at the African Savana.
