Stayed at the Bay Lake over Christmas for four days and three nights. The rooms, bathrooms and location were excellent. I would expect this for the price. It is extremely nice for a vacation with many people of different ages.
I thought service was friendly but not to the level of the price we paid. For example, the first day we left for the parks in the morning and returned around 4:30, to find none of the rooms had been cleaned. We called twice to get someone to come up. After a lot of discussion they came back at 7pm to clean while we went to dinner. I expect my rooms cleaned for this price point. Service was mediocre but location and size of room can compensate. Still question the price.

Bay Lake Towers is a picture perfect and very modern hotel. It's location is in the very heart of Walt Disney World. It's about a 10 min. walk from the Magic Kingdom (you can get a monrail directly there from the contemporary resort just next door. The parking is very close by and convenient. You can unload at the front doors and there are bellmen there ready to take your luggage and also a valeting service (reasonable prices). The rooms are very modern including the decorating but very comfortable. Neither me or my family had any problem with the rooms at all. The only downside was compared to some walt disney world resorts hotel rooms they are a little on the small side. However they were very clean and of a very high standard still. There's a 5th floor walkway to the sharing Contemporary Resort's 4th floor shopping area, with a wide range of restaurants. The pool is stunning, with a great slide and quite a large hot tub (not as special as some disney pools however). There is also a pool bar with limited menu items. Also has a range of activities on site including; camp fires, films on the beach, boat hire (small but fast two seater speedboats and also larger family boats) and also mini golf.

Another fabulous Walt Disney World Resort.

We recently stayed in a 3 bedroom Grand Villa and had grandparents, children and grandchildren. It is two stories, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is nothing you need to bring except clothes and food. We had a Magic Kingdom room view which was great for the fireworks. We had access to a private bar and viewing area. We have been DVC members for several years and it is the best investment we ever made. We own at several resorts and it is great to know our two sons will always be able to use the points.

Room Tip: The most popular would be a Magic Kingdom view but all views are great!

We loved our stay at Bay Lake Towers. Our room was on the 12th floor Room Number 8204. I booked a lakeview room asking for rooms ending at 04, 10 or 12. This allowed me and my family to have not only the lake view but also a view of the Magic Kingdom Cinderella Castle also at night the fireworks display. We were spoiled each and every night with the 10 minute firework show.

The room was spacious, kitchen great, and washing machine a god send. The staff in the lobby were very helpful and accomidating. Though checking in got a bit confusing since the bus did take us over to the Contemporary to check in and not to Bay Lake Towers.

On the days we wanted off Disney property we were able to rent a car through the National/Alamo location onsite. Not only was it helpful but convinent.

Disney bus transporatation and Monorail located at the Contemporary Hotel were great, clean and friendly.

Though the parks were full of people the Disney staff were still helpful and happy.

Room Tip: If you get a lakeview room ask for a higher floor room ending at 04, 10 or 12 you will not only get a lakeview but also a view of the Magic Kingdom and the fireworks .

Just a simply fantastic resort. We loved the location, can't stress enough you get exactly what you pay for at Disney. The fact you can walk to the park and the monorail at the Contemporary is such a great time saver. My family and I really felt the amount of time we saved was well worth the extra money we spent.

The room/suite itself was beautiful. We have stayed at a few Disney Resorts over the years and this one was one of the best. Disney does everything so well to prepare the room for a family to enjoy their vacation. We always feel at home while staying at a Disney property. I can't specifically say it was the television, the kitchen, or the bed but the luxury it obvious. The entire suite was very clean. We always like to make sure everything is top notch before we un-pack and this place was above top notch. Sometimes we let small things go because at the time it has no impact on us like dirt in the corner. If we find just a little dirt we normal think, hey it's cleaner than our house. This suite was spotless, nothing in the corner, nothing anywhere just clean.

The bed was very comfortable but the best part of the suite was the bathroom. Extremely clean and extremely luxurious. The glass shower was large and had great water pressure. The tub was a whirlpool that the kids loved. They thought it was fantastic. We had bought some bubble bath for fun and I have never seen so many suds. If it was for the fact we were right next to the park I'm not sure we could have gotten the kids at of the tub.

We would all highly recommend this resort for anybody who wants to enjoy the Disney Parks. I would recommend this resort to everybody but I wouldn't stay here if you are going to the Disney Parks.

Room Tip: You have to pay even more for the best view and we didn't feel like it was worth the extra cost. We spent enough time on the roof seeing the park, we would have been better served spending more on meals or souvenirs.
