After a trade show week we went to Seaworld. We had fun seeing the shows and my wife even tried all roller coasters... A discounted entry fee of around US $ 80,00 per person is some kind of heavily over-priced.

There are not quite as many thrill rides at this park so it's great for the wee little ones. Lots to see and experience. I actually loved it and it wasn't as crowed as some other large theme parks! So amazing that the food festival was in full swing during our visit so we got to experience lots of great foods and drinks. Really enjoyed the sky tower...worth the extra $3.00 to experience that. All in all a great day for a first time visitor from out of town!

Everyone told me that Sea World is the best, including many of our Lyft drivers. My 7 year old could only do a handful of rides on top of the "kiddie" ones. Antarctica kept stalling, and Atlantis shut down twice and was a very short ride. Shows we got in were excellent, only reason for 3 rating. However, never saw Shamu show because it fills up so early and no one warns you to get there 45 minutes ahead of time! Pets Ahoy was adorable, and Sea Lions and Dolphins enjoyable. Horrible rental stroller (noisy on those walkways and too heavy) and food was very so-so. Unlike Disney where you always know what to expect, this was not my favorite experience.

I've gone a few times now and have had a positive experience each time. They offer a great deal of variety for the young and old alike. Be sure to catch at least 1 free show they offer in various ares of the park. They really are something! Plan on a lot of walking starting from the parking lots. Their choices of food are far better than a couple of other similar parks too! There are a couple of nearly non-ride rides in a sense. The Wild Arctic simulation helicopter ride does have a height requirement of 3'6". It's a lot of fun. It's like sitting in a very small theater that has very movable chairs not controlled by you. It mimics movements of a helicopter while you watch the frozen tundra. It's a lot of fun, but it rocks you pretty good! Also if you visit the area
of Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin, know that this very mild twisty turn ride also has a height requirement. Do not go if you are wet from park rides. At the end of the very cute animated story and ride you will then exit into an area of Beautiful real life penguins! They require it to be cold and so it is extremely cold! So have fun! Hope you enjoy your time there!

The Seven Seas Food Festival is a mix of the Bands Brew & BBQ event, and Viva La Musica. The Live concerts are included with your admission. There are however reserved seats which you can purchase that are VERY near the stage.

To me the star of the event is the food. There are different, "markets" located around the park. If you are in the main festival area, there are televisions to watch the concert. The audio feed off The concert is also playing in some, but not all of the areas of the park.

There is an 8 sample deal for $40. Pass holders get an additional 10% discount AND 2 additional samples, IF PURCHASED ONLINE IN ADVANCE! Individual food items vary in price, but the sampler is your best bet. I will not review each of the 5 samples that I tried, however I will post pictures of them. The samples were plentiful in size, and I had no complaints whatsoever! I already know what my next 5 samples are, and will post another review of them when I am able to.
