We had a clean room with 2 queens, great staff at check in, great breakfast in the foyer area. The room was well prepared for our stay. Our only problem was at Friday night there was no bottled water in the cafe area, but by Saturday afternoon the staff had restocked the store area.

I've stayed at this hotel twice and it was a comfortable stay. New and clean, however the customer service lacks. The breakfast area tends to be out of items all the time, and you have to ask every time just to get something replenish. I'm not sure why the kitchen staff doesn't continuously monitor all the stations just to make sure that they are properly stocked.

I also left an item in the closet and called three time just to see if they could check the room since they couldn't find it in the lost and found. They said they would check the room and call me back. They never did and I highly doubt they checked the room when they claimed they did. I'm guess they just said it to make me stop calling. I'm not sure an item just "disappears" when they claim that all items left in a room are logged into the lost and found. Honestly if an item is left in the room, they have your address and phone number on file, why can't they call you up as a courtesy? I'm not sure I'll stay at this hotel again.

We stayed here for a night when Hurricane Irma shut our power off for a week. Being new the facility and rooms are clean and nice but very no-frills. The bed wasn't very comfortable and closet space was super tight. Given our situation the laundry room proved to be a great asset as we were able to get some clothes washed. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Location was good for us as it wasn't far from home. For those traveling it's very close to UCF and right off of 417.

We can't say enough great things about the Fairfield Inn. We evacuated our home in Dunedin, Fl at the last minute due to hurricane Irma. We called Zach at the front desk and were offered the last room. We checked in with no problem at 3 am. Zach helped us feel at ease.
The hotel was well prepared for the evacuees. They had a special rec room set-up where guests could relax. The room was very clean and comfortable during our extended stay. All hotel staff members were eager to help. Hopefully, we can make a return visit during a less tumultuous time.

On the positive side, this is a new, attractive, clean, and well-equipped Fairfield with great service, great location for UCF events, decent free breakfast (and First Watch next door if you want better) but it has some details that really need improvement:

1) Less than 1 foot closet space in room. We had a lot of suits and other hanging clothes and couldn't even fit half in closet. Asked for bigger but we're told all are that small. Had to hang clothes on hooks and shower bar and lay on beds when showering, etc. Very uncomfortable!

2) Small refrigerator does not stay on. Must press button inside every 2 hours for it to cool. No freezer, either. So not good if you have medicines or food needing constant coldness.

3) No safe in room.

4) Very little food in lobby market.

5) No luggage carts for hanging clothes. Can only hang 1 suit at a time on little carts they have - very bad welcome experience if you arrive with a lot of hanging clothes as we did.

For the location and everything else, we may stay again but I sure hope they'll address some of these issues...
