This was my first trip to a water park and took my 7 year old. We weren't able to arrive until around 11:00 which was not the best time. By the time we arrived, literally all amenities were sold out - reserved chairs, "quick queue" passes etc. If you just want to stash your stuff in a locker you don't need the chair but then get chilly when wet (towel rental a steep $5 with nowhere to keep it) and you have to run back to reapply sunscreen.
Lines for rides were long but tolerable, we made it to 4 of the big slides and keep in mind everything is less than a minute to get down! This is where I think quick queue might be worth it because you could do them multiple times. You are permitted to bring snack food and thank goodness. The lines for lunch (even at 2:00) were huge, so we ate what we had brought. If you plan to dine, you can hook your card up to a wristband so you don't have to drag it around.
If you can purchase a waterproof pouch for phone in advance do it - that would have been very nice to have but they charge a premium for it onsite.
All in all a pretty fun place, liked the "beach" and wave pool, and the fast lazy river (not easy to exit and kids will need help).

This is the second time at Aquatica. We had a great time. Ria Rapids was a hit as well as the racer slide. All rides were fun. Very family friendly. Bathrooms were very clean. Lines were not bad at all. We did pay for a cabana which was ok. Staff was very nice but not as attentive as with other water park cabanas. Long wait for food and very small menu in cabanas. You can’t even get French fries with the chicken tenders. If we go again will not pay for a cabana. But overall good time.

Arrived when they opened and got decent parking. Got discount tickets and didn’t have to pay to park which was helpful. We also got discount tickets on the all day dining deal. I wasn’t impressed with the food at all and thankful I got the all day dining deal. Food at Sea World was way better. They didn’t have enough places to eat or people working in the food places. They were all crowded and took forever to check out. They had plenty of lifeguards and felt like they did a good job. The life jackets were also scarce at some places. So if you have one I would hold onto it. The rides were typical water park rides. We loved the 2 lazy rivers. I think Adventure Island was way better than Aquatica. We left when they closed and got out fairly quickly.

Came here on the Easter Sunday, arrived at 10.30am and walked straight in no lines of people pushing like other water parks. Go to get our bags checked (not a problem) and the lady said no food allowed to be brought in, we asked why she said no bread allowed. We said that this was ok in Bush Gardens and Sea World who are all owned by the same company!!! She never gave a reason just rudely said not allowed. We where not going to let her spoil our day. Found a area with enough beds for our family even a umbrella. The place was empty we put it down to it being Easter Sunday. Managed to go on a lot of rides by what we loved most was the lazy river, this was great as it was a really hot day. With all
Parks you have to pay $22.00 to
Park your car. Gotta say this is the best water park and Volcano Bay needs to take a lead out of your book to see how well it is run.

Two adults went to Aquatica on Tuesday April 3, 2018. We were only interested in the lazy rivers and the pools. They charge over $50 dollars to enter the park, then they get your for $20 parking, $5 dollars for a towel, $20 for a locker and $17 for some crappy food at a buffet. That makes this a very expensive day. The line ups for the wrist bands are outrageous. There is no need for people to be lined up a block just to get a towel and a wrist band. The line ups for the rides were fairly long as well. It is a nice park but be aware it is going cost you and you are going to wait in line.
