If this place was $60.00 a night it would have gotten a better review. Place is now The Naples Garden Inn but the old sign is still out front. The front desk people are friendly. The housekeeping staff is friendly. The breakfast is in a nice location but the selections are bare-bones. The room is bare-bones. Minimalist table with imitation wicker furniture which hurts your back.No paintings on the glossy walls, cold tile floor with no throw rugs. Trying to get extra bath towels was a joke. Bed was so soft I had a backache, pillows are worn out. Broken floor lamp I asked to have fixed twice, perhaps the next guest will have better luck. I understand changing from incandescent bulbs to CFL but why are they the equivalent of 100 watt bulbs? No small lamps or dimmers so you are either in an operating room or a closet. The bathroom is bare-bones. The tub has been reconfigured without a spigot so you only have a shower head. Sink is outside the bathroom. In the 1960's this was probably a cool place but now even though well kept it's really outdated, small and did I mention bare bones?

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else

This place is cutely decorated, but it is still actually a motel. The rooms all open to the outside (there are no interior hall ways) so there is no privacy at all. The windows face out to the walkway where all your neighbors must pass by. There are no sheers on the window, so you must close the heavy drapes leaving the room dark. I really wanted to like the place more, as it's clear someone took the time to paint and decorate. But little things like having to be in a dark room because there are no sheers and it feels REALLY weird to relax in your room and watch strangers pass right by your window are unneccassery impositions. It's not like the place is so cheap you can overlook stuff like this. It is reasonably priced but certainly not cheap at nearly $200 a night for a standard room facing the *parking lot.* Other random misses: the shower head is low. Really low. I'm 5'6" and had to crouch to shower. Why? This is silly. Bring your own soap and shampoo as the toiletries feel as if they're actually plastic although the labeling calls them organic.... Finally, the breakfast was lackluster to be kind. Poor coffee, non dairy creamer (no half and half) bagels or toast and cereal. No fruit, no yogurt, no pastries, really it wouldn't have been difficult to offer a little something beyond cheap coffee and bagels. It should not be marketed as breakfast. Overall I give it a 3 for convenient location, and reasonable-ish price plus cutely redecorated. But it was a disappointment overall.

Room Tip: I suggest asking for a room facing the pool, otherwise your view is the parking lot or Tamiami Trail, a *very* busy thoroughfare

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Naples. My husband booked this hotel. I read the reviews and was very skeptical. I was pleasantly surprised. While this is not an upscale hotel it was very clean and quiet. There was some noise from the AC but not as bad as some other hotels we have stayed at.Our room was by the pool away from the street and parking. The continental breakfast was what I would expect for a hotel in this price range. I would stay here again.

We stayed two nights at this resort. Staff is very friendly and are constantly cleaning the public areas. The room was okay, however, it was an adjoining room so a little noisy. Our neighbors left their TV on until 4:30 am which left it difficult to sleep. I could hear them talking etcetera. The pool area is clean and protected from winds so that is a plus. The last full day we stayed, a large family arrived. They did not follow pool rules such as no diving and rather dominated the pool area for their personal use. We would probably stay again but in different room.

If you want a place that is comfortable, clean, and no frills, stay here. The wifi works well, the beds are soft and firm, everything works. There's even a little pool to relax at. Parking is spread amongst the rooms, so if you get to the room before the check in rush of the day, you should be able to park within sight of your room. Pretty convenient along Tamiami to almost everything, including the beach, as long as you have a car. A Walgreens is about a 5-10 minute walk away in case you need anything.
