Owner description: People watching is a great pastime in Miami's South Beach, which draws celebrities and beautiful people in skimpy swim attire to see and be seen. The wide and fine, white sand-covered beaches are popular spots for fashion photo shoots, so you're sure to see models. The area is known for its hip clubs and wild nightlife as well as numerous excellent restaurants.

South Beach is like one of the east coast boardwalks on the fourth of July. Crowded. And this was on a Thursday evening. The various establishment's young ladies hawking dinner specials do make a trip down the over crowded sidewalk a less than pleasant experience too. One every fifty feet or so is a bit much! We did have excellent food and overpriced drinks on both occasions. The restaurants were very accommodating and eager to please. The people watching was interesting with lots of folks seemingly just there to show off. Glad we've been there, but honestly not planning a return trip.

For most of the year sun,sea and sand is the magnetic potion to bring the visitors to South Beach, its miles of golden sands lapped by gentle waves of an azure coloured sea make this one beach in the world you have to visit. It starts at the end of the Port of Miami where the cruise ships depart and continues North until it becomes lost on the horizon. The waters are generally calm and can be flat like a pond or with the prevailing winds there can be enough surf to have great fun jumping the waves.Family friendly differing areas meet the needs of the many not just the few.If you are a talent scout this is one place to look for a girlfriend or the next centre fold.Lifeguards keep people safe and there are many areas with loungers and umbrellas. When it is calm you can paddle out to waist deep and see a myriad of tiny fish swimming along side you in the crystal clear waters Go and see for yourself.
