We liked this hotel so much we went back instead of going somewhere else. The hotel is stunning and our room was huge and beautifully decorated. It had 2 bathrooms, both with showers and one with a tub. The was also a balcony and 2 TVs. Wifi is free throughout the hotel and pool area. The pool area is lovely with 2 pools and 2 hot tubs and there is a private area on the beach. Only word of waning is that it is a car drive from South Beach, but personally we preferred being a little but out of noise and busyness. Great value for money.

From the time we walked into the lobby of the Grand Beach Hotel we were given excellent service and great recommendations. The room was very clean and the staff was very attentive. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: When asked for our room preference, we requested the best view and we received a view of the harbour on one side and the beach on the other side. It was perfect.

Hotel was lovely, all the staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were amazing - as its new everywhere was pristine.. white bright and airy, 2 bathrooms and seperate sitting area.. the rooms on the side of the hotel afford you the luxury of a beach and Miami view! We only had 2 occasions to purchase beverages in the hotel... coffees and beers... both were pricey hence we ate and drank outside of the hotel... the only downside is the location, although on Collins Avenue, we had to walk over a mile to the nearest store... you are looking at $15 each way in a taxi to Lincoln Rd Mall where the nearest bars and restaurants are... theres plenty of choice here.. however there is also a bus stop right outside the hotel and you can jump on the bus for $2 to any location... you can travel up to Aventura Mall or down to South Beach from right outside.. the serenity pool is adults only and this was really quiet and peaceful as opposed to the families pools on the beachfront.

My wife and I went on our first tip to Miami and after extensive review online decided on Grand Beach. Unfortunately, the room wasn't available on the day we arrived but this gave us the benefit of comparing Grand Beach hotel to the other one we stayed for a couple of days for the same price. First, the hotel is still pretty new so there is no mildew or rotten wood smell and equipment runs pretty smooth. The white bright interior adds to the resort-like enviroment. The room was partial ocean view, and the staff at the front desk made every effort to ensure that we get the room that looked as if it was an ocean front (and they did it without us asking). The room had two bathrooms (the best part), king size bed and a large balcony. All rooms have wi-fi which, unfortunately, drops connection every 3-5 minutes (annoying but managable). We only got breakfast at the restaurant which was pricey but very good for the money we paid compared to the other hotel. If you want cheaper breakfast you need to drive to Lincoln Rd. I noticed a lot of complaints about the distance of Grand Beach from downtown Lincoln Rd. However, most hotels from 3000 block and up are pretty far from Lincoln Rd so there's not much difference, you still need a car. The good thing, if you are driving, Grand Beach is located almost equal distance between Lincoln Rd and North Beach shops, cutting your driving time. It also pretty close to I-195 so you can quickly get to Miami or surrounding areas. If you drive, prepare to pay $29/day parking fee but almost all hotels there charge it, as well as the fee for beach umbrellas and chairs, but towels are free (the other hotel charged us for towels as well). Bottom line: for the money we paid, around $210 per night, this was awesome, resort like experience that I would like to repeat next time I'm in Miami. Some wishes for the staff at the hotel: 1. Please fix wi-fi. 2. Defnetly add SPA (next door is the Miami Beach SPA but it's horrible). 3. Pillows are a bit hard. :) Other than that thank you for a great experience.
