We were a party of four, all aficionados of Greek food, in fact two of our party have Greek heritage. We decided to create our own meze and chose the dip platter (superb taramasalata; creamy tzatziki; and smoky melitzana were my standouts); dolmades (just the best ever - the balance of rice and beef was perfect, and the avgolemono sauce had the right amount of tang); calamari (very crispy and tasty); shrimp - very garlicky and juicy; spanokopita/spinach and cheese pie - which took me back to many trips to Greece; and saganaki /fried cheese (beautiful). These were served with plenty of pita - too much in fact, we couldn't finish the bread even though we kept it on the table to go with the entrees.
We shared two entrees - lamb chops and lavraki (branzino). I didn't try the lamb chops but they were said to be excellent, however, the lavraki was superb - it was cooked on the grill with lemon and olive oil and it was succulent and the simple flavours were outstanding. Unsurprisingly, we had no room for dessert!
Service was friendly and timely - as it should be.
