Oh Coquina Beach!
Thanks for the upgraded beach. Very nicely done. The sand is exquisite! Parking is close to the beach as well. Many picnic tables too. Changing facilities as well as bathrooms.
Look for the little Coquinas but please look only and leave them be.

This is one of the more accessible beaches with easy access and ample parking. When other beaches are full, this one may still have spaces.

There are multiple amenities here along with lifeguards. This beach is mostly families with more seniors later toward sunset.

This beach is very very clean and is popular with families.

A down side is that there are long lines to use the bathroom facilities which have showers, as whole families descend on the shower washrooms at a time and you really can be stood there for 40 minutes sometimes.

At the weekend from late afternoon onwards the traffic is almost at a standstill by this beach as the world and his dog try to get off the island to head back home. Be sure you have been to the bathroom and have food and drink in the car as you really can be in for a long wait.

Very nice beach within walking distance of many restaurants in town. Parking may not be ample during high season.

This beach was less crowded than other beaches. It has incredibly soft, powdery sand
which is nice for walking. Has both changing stations and large, clean restrooms close to the beach. Fairly quiet, except when the signal goes off to announce the opening of
the drawbridge for large sailboats. Saw several dolphins swimming in the water near us
Allow yourself extra time when leaving the beach area, as the traffic is bumper to bumper heading towards Cortez and rentals.
