We stayed 4 nights at the Diplomat, 3 nights in 1-bedroom suite #237 because we really liked the quiet location at end of resort with view of sea oats and ocean and then moved for 1 night in studio #225. Both units were very nice and well equipped. Although the resort is older, everything is kept very clean and the units we stayed in were nicely decorated. The rooms were surprising spacious. The bathrooms were functional but had dated pink tile - kind of cool retro look! Beds comfortable. Sheets and bath towels were nice quality. The location is great with gulf front views from each unit.
