“Wonderful place by the sea.”

I have been vacationing at this Resort for over 20 years and wouild highly recommend it. We stay in the one bedroom efficiency which is roomy and bright. The grounds and rooms are clean and they are always renovating. Right on the beach and it's proximity to the shops make this a great place to stay.

Room Tip: I always like to stay in room # 19 as it is the largest one and allows me to have firends over and t...

Stayed here with a trade thru RCI and couldn't have been happier! We got what I think is the best room in the house..Private top floor balcony facing the ocean. Slept in the livingroom a couple nights just so I could listen to the waves and feel the breezes! Rooms are clean, clean, clean ( leave staff a tip for sure) There is only one washer and dryer for everyone, including the staff, but when I left my clothes in the dryer someone from the staff had folded them for me! Met many of the owners at the pool and had alot of great conversations with very nice people. Can't wait to go back :-)

Room Tip: I think the room we stayed in was 308, overlooking pool and ocean..great!!

This is a very nice place, but I think calling it a resort is a little bit of a stretch. We stayed twice for two nights each time before and after our cruise. We had different rooms and both were spacious with full kitchens and one bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Also, in the living room was a futon type thing which was apparently very comfortable.

The "resort" has a nice little pool and it is right on a great beach. Apparently there is a really good reef just off the beach. We saw lots of scuba divers heading out there. I didn't see anything else "resort" like. There are a couple of good restaurants close by plus a pharmacy, grocery store (about a 3 min. drive but a little far to walk). Just about one block away is a gourmet burger place, Burgerfi. Best burgers and onion rings I've ever had. It's expensive but worth every penny.

We can't say enough good about Windjammer, the owner, John, and the staff. After arriving in LDBTS and finding that the hotel that we had initially booked was absolutely filthy and beyond what we could stand for a week, we spoke to the staff at Windjammer (Joseph is great!) and were amazed at how willing they were to help us. To make sure our experience in LDBTS left a lasting impression, John went above and beyond and put us in an absolutely wonderful room. We had everything we needed as far as accommodations, and the cleanliness of Windjammer was incredible (this coming from 2 clean freaks). The location of Windjammer is perfect, and it is in a great area. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. We would highly recommend staying at Windjammer.

This place is a gem. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, location can't be beat, rooms fully equipped and clean. Steps to the ocean with chairs and umbrellas provided. Park your car and walk wherever you want to go. Excellent restaurants right down the street, shopping is also close enough to walk. All the people were friendly and the staff can't do enough for you. A wonderful find. We will be back.

Room Tip: All rooms have a view of the ocean.
