Took my dog to the small dog fenced area and WE had a ball. A water spigot and bowl is available for the thirsty critter during and after play. The larger dogs have a similar area next.

This park has been my dog walking place over the last few weeks and like all of Pinellas County parks it is pristine. The natural beauty of the trails, several docks overlooking the lake, access to the trail leading to another lake and a variety of flora and fauna, make for a peaceful experience.

The park attracts walkers and bike riders alike and trails are well marked. Well kept picnic areas with grills, clean rest rooms, and a fun children's area with playground equipment are amenities that make it so inviting.

This park was a nice surprise for us. It was completely free to visit here, including free parking. There are several paved trails to walk on and view the wildlife. We saw birds, turtles, squirrels, and lizards. The lake is full of fish and turtles here to view. Many opportunities for exercise and picture talking. They also have a shelter with a grill and public restrooms.

I've been going to Clearwater for over 20 years. The park is behind my twin sisters house. We use to watch the cows when it was still a farm. Now I enjoy it daily when I visit. I love the big beautiful trees. It's great fitness walking, riding a bike, roller blading and walking the dogs. You can stroll along the paved paths or go off to the shell paths or just walk around the grassy areas. It's free and great for all ages. They have pavilions with electricity and grills for parties, a couple bathrooms, a dog park to let your dog run and play, a playground for all ages of kids, decks overlooking the several large ponds to watch the turtles and abundant wildlife. And several wooded walkways. They warn about alligators, but I've never seen one there. At night on patio we have seen coyotes come out now and then.

•FREE parking

•FREE admission

•You can walk, run or bike this park. If you're not in the mood for physical activity, driving around the scenic park is great. There are parking locations located threw out the park just in case you want to site see, take pictures, stretch your legs or use the restrooms.

•The park is 163 acres which originally belonged to the Taylor family. They were one of the original pioneer families in Pinellas County. The Taylors used the property for cattle grazing and as a citrus grove.

•There are over 2,000 feet of board walks over restored wetlands, 6 picnic shelters, a playground, dog park, catch and release fishing is permitted from designated areas.

•Bring water, sunscreen and snacks
