We are snowbirds coming here every year for several years. Because we don’t come as early as most it can be difficult to get a spot sometimes. This campground is always full and the sites are close together. Some sites are in full sun some in shade. There are laundry facilities and several playgrounds. It is situated along beautiful Lake Osborne. A nice breeze is usually prevalent. Most people are quite and friendly.
John Prince Park offers a lovely walking/ heart trail as well as great playgrounds with a splash pad. The park is well patrolled by park rangers and the local sheriffs department. This is because of the abundance of homeless individuals. This is a sanctuary park. They do not bother you ever! They keep to themselves and respect others. We have never had an issue.
Back to the campground. It is an ok campground. In my humble opinion they need to reorganize the camp sites. They tend to be haphazardly placed with awkward angles and too close together in places. The trees definitely need trimming and better maintenance of the long term campers is a must. People are allowed to pretty much do as they please concerning close lines and parking. If the sites were larger it would be much better for general parking.
The rates are great and it is centrally locates to Palm Beach County.
