First time we stayed in Lake Worth a few blocks from downtown and we loved the vicinity. The town is kind of hippie like and cool with some nice restaurants and stores. It is walking distance to the intercoastal boardwalk which is a lovely walk with views. There seem to be quite a bit of homeless people hanging around all day as well.

I've lived in Lake Worth for 18 years and visit downtown at least 3 times a week. It is very casual, laid back and fun to stroll down.

Very pretty town near the ocean, A1A, and Route 1. We enjoy walking around and visiting the shops and restaurants.

Love this quarky little spot.
Lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. Not like the snobby ones downtown West Palm. These are more hippy- like. Think coffee shop, blues bar, vintage stores. They have a spot with a lot of beautiful trees where they have live performances on weekends and people can sell stuff.
Cool festival worth going to: Street Painting (FREE)

A nice, unassuming town. Nice shops and restaurants, good beach. Free open air music Friday nights. Great place for a vacation!
