We stopped in to Jerusalem for lunch. The menu offered a wide variety of middle eastern items. Our very friendly waitress brought out a basket of warm naan which was soft as a cloud. She also provided a plate of pickles and olives, a nice touch. We ordered the Kafka kebabs and the lamb cube kababs. Both were moist and tender. The rice was the fluffiest we’ve eaten and had a delicious seasoning; unfortunately I couldn’t identify what it was. The hummus that accompanied the plate was the creamiest I’ve tasted. The kitchen easily accommodated my request to substitute the Arabic salad for the standard side salad. We were stuffed, so we ordered baklava to go. It was prepared two ways, with walnuts or with pistachios. Most restaurants only offer walnut, but pistachio is wonderful. We enjoyed both flavors.
